The Watering Hole

Everyone knows that watering holes are dangerous. Well, not for everyone, but ... as the red breasted robin found out, that was its last flight to the pond...

The snow had covered everything, and birds had found this pond. As they were flying towards it, the hawk struck. She was successful, and took close to an hour to finish her meal. All while her mate was soaring above her.

At the end all that was left were feathers everywhere, wings and bones ... That's nature. All beings must eat in the way they were made to. Click on the thumbnails for larger images.

(note: I will soon make a slide show to post on youtube. Until then, enjoy these images)
